Spartanburg, SC Muse Machine Theater Tour

Today was the first day of my 3-week, 37 show tour of all the schools in greater Spartanburg.  This first show was “Catch the Learning Bug” for 4th graders at O.P. Earle Elementary School.  Balls flew, balloons popped, plates spun!  A good time was had by all.

If you saw one of my shows and would like to comment, it would be appreciated!

Thanks.

  1. Paul is a fantastic performer! Our students AND teachers enjoyed him! He is hilarious! His skills, circus delivery, audience interaction and educational information were mesmerizing. He held the students attention the entire time and was a motivational visitor for us all. We thank Paul for an entertaining time of laughter and giggles!

  2. I was part of the audience at Cowpens Elementary school in Spartanburg, SC where Paul put on an outstanding performance. He began doing tricks as the children were still being seated, which caused that whole getting settled process to go a lot more smoothly and quietly than usual. He involved the children during his fast-paced highly entertaining show.
As the school librarian, my favorite aspect of his performance was his emphasis on the value of libraries. Throughout his show, he encouraged the students to go to the library if they wanted to learn how to juggle, do magic tricks and just generally read up on fun activities.

  3. The Flow Circus is indeed a wonderful tool for exposure to students toward Career Development! Paul not only provided entertainment the students and staff at Fairforest Middle... he provided "edutainment"! Paul displayed influence toward choosing a Career that you truly love and enjoy because life is better when you enjoy your Career! Paul only performed for a small group of students, and I going to invite him back to perform for the entire school!

  4. The students of Dorman High Schools enjoyed the Flow Circus presentation immensely! Mr. Miller was well-prepared and involved the audience in a humorous way. In addition, the message to find your true passion and prepare for the future with that in mind proved relevant to the students. Thanks for "internal jogging"!!!

Thank you for a Wonderful Performance on 9-11-08 at Berry Shoals Intermediate School. Our students really enjoyed your humor and your skills. You were very entertaining, yet, you kept reminding them that they, too, can learn anything from visiting their library and reading books. BRAVO !!!! I am the Drama teacher at Berry Shoals ... my students learn to juggle in my classes and therefore they truly appreciate all the hard work and practice it takes to be really good at juggling. You really impressed them.

Thanks! I have had more positive comments about your show than any
other Muse Machine performance that we have had in the 12 years I've
    been at this school!

  6. The students who saw the Flow Circus at Chapman High School thoroughly enjoyed the performance! Paul's antics helped the students relax and truly listen to the advice he gave them about choosing a career. When asked if they would like to see him again the students responded quite enthusiastically. The comments students wrote about Paul included “He is so AWESOME!” and “You were so funny and you came with a great message.” I hope that one day all of the students at Chapman will have the opportunity to see the Flow Circus.

  7. Our 6th grade had a blast with Paul as he presented a great career oriented program. He is entertaining and presents a great educational message about preparing for your future career. I would encourage anyone to have him at your school. The kids were talking all day about how much they enjoyed his program and were able to tell me about what he said in the program! Awesome! I only wish we had included the whole school!

  8. The show was spectacular! We cried because we were laughing so hard! Some comments from the kids:

Mr. Miller was extremely funny! I absolutely loved the balloons! I really want to see him again!

Paul Miller was hilarious! I would love to see him again!

Some of his tricks were dazzling!

Paul Miller was amazing! He was really fun!

Paul Miller was soooo funny. He was very agile with all of the balls he was juggling. His accent was very funny, too!

My favorite part of seeing Paul Miller was him blowing up the balloons and making animals.

The performance of Paul Miller was wonderful: it was funny and full of great tricks. And I like the way he included the audience.

He did great with teaching us how to plan our career...and with juggling!

I thought he was funny, creative and was probably the best part of everyone's day. He also gave us a great idea about what we want to do for a career and how to make money off of it.

I learned so much by him...there really are a lot of careers in the world!
