Wow....almost a decade into the 2000's. Amazing how time flies! It was 10 years ago that Flow Circus began as an idea in the mind of a solo performer. Now our annual "gig count" reaches in the hundreds, we conduct staff development workshops at regional and national conferences, and we are increasingly called upon to help organizations expand their programming for tweens and teens. As we approach the holidays and the beginning of the new year, we would like to extend our sincerest thanks for all your support, referrals, and kind words.

We look forward to working with you to build stronger programs and inspire playfulness in 2010.

Playfully yours,

Paul & Dawn

DisneyJuggling for Disney: Every performer wants to be able to add a cruise to their resume, but little did I know how complicated the process of getting onto a cruise ship would be! Last May, I traveled out to Los Angeles to audition at the Improv in front of several agencies - one of which books cabaret acts for Disney Cruises. After seeing 10 minutes of my live performance and a DVD of other performance clips, I was finally invited to perform on the Disney Wonder this month.

Life on a cruise ship isn't as glamorous as you might think, but I did enjoy the opportunity to perform with Disney. Two 30 minute shows and a 60 minute juggling workshop for tweens/teens - lots of laughter & play!

Best of all, I was able to pose with my 2 favorite characters........

Gobbler's Run for WF Boys & Girls Club: Thanksgiving morning marked the 4th Annual Gobbler's Run 5K Family Event in our hometown of Wake Forest, North Carolina. All proceeds from the event benefit the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club. Flow Circus has run skill toy and juggling programs at the Club for several years and we are big supporters of the organization.

Excited to help with this fun event, we coordinated volunteers for the Gobbler's Run as well as promoted the event to local schools, civic groups, and media. Of course, we couldn't keep Paul off the microphone so he became the emcee for the morning - waking everyone up with his silly antics and playful banter!

The race was a huge success attracting over 1300 runners/walkers from 22 different states and raising $20,000 for the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club. We enjoyed participating and look forward to next year!
